Established by the Church of Latter-day Saints in 1877 in Logan, Utah, Brigham Young College offered four years of high school training as well as four years leading to the Baccalaureate Degree until 1909, when the first year of high school training and the Baccalaureate degree was eliminated; in 1920 the second year of high school was eliminated. Ada Eliza England Morrell was born April 9, 1887 in Hyde Park Utah to Charles England and Phebe Almira Woolf England. Ada was a graduate of the Brigham Young College, a member of the Eliza R. Snow Camp of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, and was active in the leadership of her local LDS ward and stake.
